Yes, we are STILL ON THIS

Hi, guys. I'm really sorry about the lack of posts lately. I am, believe it or not, still sick. Thanksgiving was challenging and not a whole lot of fun (sorry, Megan, I'd have liked to see you, but I was feeling pretty crappy on Friday), and the only good part about being home was that my mommy was there to take care of me.

I went to the doctor again yesterday, and they changed my medication. My MRI showed inflammation in my small intestines as well as my colon, but the old medicine was only treating my colon, which is presumably why there's been no noticeable improvement. The new pills are 8 a day instead of 6, and even bigger than the last ones, which I didn't think was possible.

School is, for the most part, over for this semester. I have a final on Tuesday night, but I got a 102 on the midterm, so I'm not terribly worried about it. I managed to avoid my take-home final for my other class - the professor basically said, "I'm busy and don't want to grade a lot of exams, so if you're happy with the grade you have, you don't have to take it." So I'm not taking it.

My holiday spirit is nonexistent. The box of Christmas decorations is still sitting in my dining room, unopened. I'm dreading the whole Christmas shopping thing even more than usual, since I don't exactly have much stamina for mall excursions. Why is everyone I know so impossible to buy for? I want a new family. If you have any suggestions for gift-giving, I'm quite open to them.
