Crazy people...
So, yesterday, I came back from some meetings on the Hill and found our entire street blocked off by police cars and caution tape, and they wouldn't even let pedestrians through to get to our office. Later on, I found out why. Good to know the crazies are alive and well and protesting outside my building.
In other news, I've been on the medicine almost two weeks now, and still haven't seen any improvement in my intestinal nonsense. My mom was optimistic that I'd be better by Thanksgiving, but it looks like that's not going to happen. (That means no pigging out for me on Turkey Day.) I'm in work today, and driving to my parents' house tomorrow morning.
Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!
